Procedures Performed
- Pacemaker implantation including leadless (Micra), biventricular (CRT-P) and physiologic (His/ Left bundle) pacing.
- Defibrillator implantation including transvenous (ICD), subcutaneous (S-ICD) and biventricular(CRTD) defibrillators.
- Cardiac rhythm monitor implantation (implantable loop recorder).
- Lead extractions using laser sheaths.
- Zero fluoroscopy guided ablations (no X ray exposure).
- Ablation of supraventricular tachycardias (SVT).
- Ablation of ventricular arrhythmias (VT and PVCs) including epicardial, bipolar ablation and ECGi mapping.
- Ablation of atrial fibrillation using radio-frequency and cryoballoon techniques.

About
Dr. Alejandro Jimenez Restrepo completed Internal Medicine and Cardiology fellowship at UT Health Science Center in San Antonio, followed by Electrophysiology training at the University of Maryland Medical Center. His clinical interests include complex ablations and advanced device implants. His practice emphasizes procedure standardization and efficiency to improve patient outcomes. He is actively involved in research and education with the University of Maryland School of Medicine as Associate professor, and with the American College of Cardiology as Associate Editor of JACC Case Reports.
